It used to work great, but now every time I get an e-mail with an attachment no matter how big or small Thunderbird cant/wont download it properly. I recently got an image attachment and I could see like 2% of it the rest was grayed out, im not sure what could be causing this or how to fix it. Ive already tried Repair, Updating to the latest version and reinstalling, its still the same result!

but it was already set to false! Am I supposed to set it to true, wait for another e-mail with an attachment to come, and then set it to false?

If it's already false, then the chunk size probably isn't the cause. What is the antivirus and its settings for scanning email? Try running Windows in safe mode to test the effect of antivirus.

If you have an internet connected computer with no antivirus, not even defender. I think you have much greater issues that Thunderbird not downloading attachments. Generally malware infests a windows computer within a few minutes with nothing to stop it.

However, please post the more troubleshooting information from the help menu. That might shed some light.
