I don't know how to turn off the filters. I put the 'Unread' on by clicking quick filter and now I can't see my old 'Read' ones. Help! I have tried toggling both the Quick Filter and the Unread to no avail.

yeah, my guess is you have been toggling them on and off faster then they respond. How about doing nothing for a few minutes and then checking the filters are turned off.

I find they can take up to a minute to respond on my inbox of 175,000 messages.
