I have 10 tabs open. I click on a hyperlink that links to a pdf documents. the document attempts to load in a new or same tab. When it reaches this state the browser will stop responding and I am forced to close it via Task Manager in Windows

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

If not, see this:

Safe mode? I run firefox in regular mode. Firefox never asks me to run it in safemode. I think its probably just a problem with Adobe PDF reader for Firefox that causes this issue. I really wish Firefox could isolate tabs so you can close them without affecting the entire browser.

No replies to this question??? I too have a problem with all of my Firefox open tabs (regular Mode) freezing when almost anything unuusual is happening with any of them: pdf files, auto updates, scripts/script warning.

Why does one tab issue(s) affect all other tabs? Why can't I simply click to another tab and resume there?

Thanks for assistance!!
