FF will not open for browse and will not close. FF will not run. nothing happens when I tried to open it FF will not close so I can rerun the program. This hapened when I was updating into the lasted version for XP. I have downloaded the program and it still will not open or close FF. When I run CCleaner, it says that FF is open. When I try to remove FF, it says that I must close FF first. If I can not access FF how can I close it. When I run CCleaner it says that I have no issues on my computer. twice a day I run my spyware and I also ran a check with my spyware and it says that I have no issues as well.

The problem is referred to as "hanging at exit" and is usually caused by an Extension or a Plugin.

Sounds like it is hanging when you exit and later try to restart Firefox.
