I cannot place the new Firefox in my Applications folder.
Currently, Firefox 3.0.11 is installed; not sure why newer versions have not been installed but finally decided to download the latest version on my (home) MacBookPro (Mac OS X 10.6.5). When I try to drag the icon to my Applications folder and click "replace", I get the message:
The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items.
I am the owner and only user. Help!

- Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
- Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.
- Install the new version that you have downloaded.
