Firefox usually won't load certain sites fully (eg youtube, Google Reader, etc)

Hi, I'm using Firefox 4.0.1 with Windows Vista and I'm having an issue with certain pages loading.

Many pages such as youtube or Google Reader will not load fully, either loading in a more sparse and text-based way or not loading at all (eg Google Reader says that it is 'taking longer than usual' and to try loading in https, which sometimes works).

However, about 10% of the time these pages load correctly, and some pages are not affected at all. I am able to open everything correctly in Internet Explorer.

I feel like these problems started when I had my computer cleaned and had Microsoft Security Essentials and Window Washer installed on it, but I'm not sure if this matters. How do I fix this?

This is a picture of the incorrectly loaded youtube screen, unusually, the picture shows the video having loaded (it usually just gives a black box and the video does not play): http://i54.tinypic.com/nwius5.jpg

I've installed 5.0 and still have this issue.

For most of the last week the problem disappeared, but it just started again.
