I'm on v. 6.02. When I do 'search for updates' I get 'you have the latest'. When I look at Mozilla's page the latest is 7.0. Why?

Mozilla's downloadable version seems to be 7.0. As an update it seems not available. At least my search for updates won't find it. I'm just wondering whether 7.0 is genuine and whether if I download it I need to trash the former version (since it won't be installed as an update).

Mozilla has pauzed the updating proces because there is an issue with Firefox 7.0. You will receive an update when this problem is solved. See:
