No menubar under Ubuntu 11.10
I have been experimenting with Firefox and the most current version of Ubuntu. I am unable to get the Import/Export Feature for Bookmarks and reading help files, there is no 'Menubar' under tools.
Chosen solution
For Ubuntu 11,10, Importing Bookmarks to Firefox is easy once you are used to the fact that the hover menu for each menu differs. 1- Open Firefox and hover over the top left bar, under Bookmarks, select Show All Bookmarks. 2- Click onto the Library window at the top to select it, now the top menu changes as you hover over the top left bar again, select Import and Backup and import your HTML or JSON file et voila!.

Ubuntu 11.xx displays window menus in the control bar at the top of the screen with the switch to the Unity window manager.
Click on Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks then move your mouse to the left upper corner toward Firefox Web Browser. You'll get pop up menu (Organize, Views and Import and Backup).
Menu Bar: I know where the menubar is, but like FF under Windows, I can have it permanently viewable.
Bookmarks: Thanx, I did not move my mouse high enough to see it.
