Keep getting random pop-up notices from firefox stating upgrades, which include disabling certain things from my computer--sounds fishy. Is this your site or someone hacking?

Also, my virus protection is questionable most of the time I run firefox now...why the change?

Mozilla released the Firefox 8.0 update this morning.

The update add-ons scan was probably telling you that a security add-on wasn't compatible with Firefox 8.0. Update that add-on to make it compatible.

Thanks for the response. My question was probably not clear enough--the pop-up update was from Firefox, and when I clicked to update, it asked to disable certain programs in my computer. Is that what usually happens with an update from your company?

Also, when I using your browser, why isn't McAfee showing protection? It gives the "?" symbol rather than the green check mark. Thanks for your reply!

Thank you for helping!
