Environment: Windows XP SP3 + Firefox 6.x
Case: When loading a certain site, which includes three parts, the header, the left menu-bar and the content. It sometimes occurs that the content part will disappear, instead, it will show "the connection was reset".
Frequency: Less than 10%, but we must find the root cause.

Sometimes this is due to a problem with a website, or due to interfering software, maybe security applications.

Try with another browser. As you appear to be using Windows have a try with Internet Explorer.

Why are you using Firefox 6 that is outdated and not secure, it puts your data and computer security at risk.

Is there a secure connection involved with accessing the website?

Do other see this error as well?

If not then you can check the network.http prefs on the about:config page and make sure that they all have the default value.
