Chosen solution

hello bkuu, this might be an issue with hardware acceleration. please try updating your graphics driver, or in case there is no new version available at the moment disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general. in case you cannot access the options menu because of the issue you're currently having, launch firefox in safemode first.

thanks for the reply! However, I cannot get into safe mode. I can't access it from ff menu nor can I find it anywhere in the folders. I will try a roll back my video card driver and see if that would work because I also updated that last night too.

you can also get into safemode by holding down the shift key while you launch firefox (all other open windows of firefox must be closed first however).

well i rolled back my video card driver to the previous and everything is back to normal. I will keep it that way for now but will try the other method if I ever decide to update again. Thanks for the help! Consider this problem solved.
