In my class, I need to install Virtual lab through Ahima.org (https://cernaes.cernerworks.com/AHIMA/auth/login.aspx ). While installing, I get an error stating ...

"The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\Plugins. This installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator."

I am the administrator. This is a new laptop with Windows 8. I can install this program on Vista but not Windows 8.

hello, does it work when you right-click the file & choose to run it as administrator?

I have a similar situation but the menu item "Run As Administrator" is not offered in Windows 8 for the *.msi item I am trying to install as it is for any *.exe file. Also I have looked and there is no directory called "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\Plugins\resources" which is the location it says it cannot access due to lack of privilege.
