Received the prompt to update Firefox version 25 to Firefox version 26. Clicked on Update Now and successfully downloaded the update. When I attempted to run the update, I get the error message, "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher." I have the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Pro. I tried performing the installation with all other applications closed. I tried the manual update. I tried updating from the About menu. None of it works. Has anyone solved this issue?

Thanks for the very quick response; it seemed that I had just pressed SEND when the reply appeared :-) Love that! This worked once I restarted the PC and downloaded the Firefox 26 Stub file.
