The icon's created are small white boxes with the sites standard icon shown very small within the white box. I have been using Chrome, so got use to seeing it's large icon format. Looking for a way to view a bigger icon. Any Suggestions?

You may have to disable the favicon and make Firefox use its own icon.

You can toggle the browser.shell.shortcutFavicons to false to disable the favicons.
