hello, i don't know where you have heard that, but that's not accurate - brendan wasn't fired, it was his personal decision to step back from his position, because all the ongoing frenzy.

I am not an idiot. In my many years, I have seen lots of people "resign" when we all know that they were forced out. This is what happened here. Goodbye Mozilla. I'm sorry that you feel this way but the focus for Mozilla is to protect the web and to make it better.

one last thing to add: the reason behind brendan's decision to step back between all this ongoing frenzy was to avert further damage from mozilla and its mission - so his intentions were just the opposite of what you are trying to achieve with a call for boycott.
