Youtube only choppy when loading webpages in new tabs
When I play youtube, it will become choppy when I attempt to open another webpage in a new tab. I've tried disabling hardware acceleration in firefox, flash, and on my computer graphics.
Is there a way to fix this problem?
Thanks.

Hi,
None of the above worked though I did them.
I switched to an earlier version of Flash and performed the following, which worked:
Add 4 extra items to about:config.
Right click in the white area and in the little box go to New---> then click on Boolean to do each of these below.
dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npctrl.dll dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npqtplugin.dll dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.nptest.dll
You can copy and past in each one instead of typing them.Make sure they are all False there is one more that all so need's to be false.
dom.ipc.plugins.enabled <----This all so need's to be false. It should all ready be in there so double click on it.Add them first then below is another option needed.
Click on Start>Control Panel>System Properties>Advanced>Environment Variables>System Variables> / New
Then add these.you can copy and past them Variable Name: MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS Variable Value: 1 (These steps are from another site.)

Crashes or other problems with certain multimedia content in Firefox (such as Youtube videos and Flash animations or games) can often be resolved by performing the steps in these Knowledge Base articles:
On Windows Vista and above, you can disable Flash protected mode by following the instructions on these pages:
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Disabling_Protected_Mode_in_Flash_11.3
(See this Adobe blog post for technical details about Flash protected mode.)
Please tell us if this helped!
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

It shouldn't be necessary to disable the plugin-container process this way.
This will cause Firefox to crash or hang if there is a problem with a plugin.
Did you make sure that security software isn't causing issues with the plugin-container process?
No, I didn't try that because my afore-mentioned steps solved my problem. I haven't had crashes.
