how do i restore my email account - there is no back up
I tried to backup to an external hard drive. It did not work. When I went to open thunderbird none of my messages or folders were there. How can I recover them.

It did not work.
Please explain what exactly you did and what happened.
I found a solution. In the program files somehow the path had been altered to one of the other sub folders in the program files. Once I corrected the path the account was restored. Thank you for your interest in helping me resolve the problem
