hi today i changed to mozilla and am having some problems getting used to it. with ie9 i could click on an image and then just save the image to "my picures",

i would then go on my pictures and the image would be there.
i dont seem to be able to do this with mozilla.

each time i get it into my pictures i end up with a whole file which has about 15 to 20 images on it.. how do i just get the one picture i want. i have tried going to edit, copy but then when i go to file there is no where to send the picture..

if i right click with the mouse there is nothing saying how to do this and so i googled it which then made no sense at all.

as i need to be able to do this, if i cant get it sorted out then i am going to have to go back to ie9 help please

Make sure that you use "Save Image As" and not "Save Page As".

You can also try to save the image via the "Tools > Page Info > Media" window.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
