How can I migrate Juno-client folders to Thunderbird?

For years I have used Juno client apps, dating back maybe to their beginnings.

Of course they went from strictly ASCII 'form' files to that annoying BDBish format.

I have juno5bdb, but don't know which output format they use is compatible with the current 'Bird, and can't find an import function in 'Bird to complete the process.

Juno doesn't have a facility to freely transfer stuff between the client and webmail, so the recent solution you had for someone who wanted to migrate his old mail from webmail doesn't apply to me.

I'm hesitant to use Thunderbird until I can look at my Juno-client messages in it, but I fear that I'll have to forward each and every message stored, which would take a helluvalong time and from which there'd be no way for me to go back.

Thunderbird uses the mbox format for mail storage. You can use this add-on to import mbox files. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/
