quite often while trying to draft a mail, it gets hung.. and becomes slow sometimes wherein to tyoe each letter you have to wait for 6 minutes or more and sometimes indefinite.. wherein you are forced to close the window and again open and start drafting mails..takes away a lot of valuable time.

also when you want to scroll a mail it does not move.

also when you want to jump from one mail to another again it slows down does not move

There are various possible causes and you will need to experiment to find out what's wrong. If you have a Windows computer, try running Windows in safe mode to check that it's not an operating system issue; try turning off your antivirus temporarily, because antivirus scanners can conflict with Thunderbird; try starting Thunderbird in safe mode in case it's a problem with an add-on.
