Suddenly Thunderbird gets error in log and will not download email

When I start Thunderbird on my Macbook, it will not download my email from fastmail. This just started 2 days ago. Before that, all was fine. This is the latest entry in the error log. There are also a bunch of warnings on the log. I will add them if this error doesn't do the trick.

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender. If still no joy.... Restart the operating system in 'safe mode with Networking'. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection.

If it now works, then it is possible your anti-virus product may be blocking Thunderbird.

I use norton and it did not seem to know that an update was the same program. I had to close thunderbird, access Norton, set to block ok it and then reset to allow and ok it.

Do you have an anti virus program? They appear to crop up in my searches for that error message as the common cause on windows.
