Since the last update I can´t connect to my yahoo mail. I have tried with my gmail and hotmail mails, and they work fine, just the yahoo one doesn´t get conexion to the server.

I have checked if I could still get in the mail through the yahoo website and I had no problems, so it´s something that has changed with Thunderbird.

Chosen solution

The next thing I suggest is recreating the e-mail account in Thunderbird. If you are using POP, then first make sure you copy the e-mails from that account into your Local Folders.

Delete the Yahoo account from Thunderbird. Close, then restart Thunderbird. Create the Yahoo account from scratch, making sure the server settings are correct as per their website.

The first thing to do is double-check the e-mail server settings.

Thunderbird Menu: Tools: Account Settings Under your Yahoo account, look at Server Settings

Here are the settings for Yahoo IMAP: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN4075.html

And for Yahoo POP: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN4724.html

I checked it and it´s exactly as it says. It was working before the new update and all the settings are right.

It may be a two-step verification or 'less-secure apps' issue:
