recently firefox suggested it was running slow and after agreeing to allow changes to fix this all my saved passwords and log ins have disappeared. Is there a way to reinstate them?

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

What about the rest of your data? history, bookmarks . . . .

It could be you did a refresh of Firefox.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Hey there, I apologize for a late reply, but I am tracking down a bug why passwords may go missing after this upgrade, can you tell me what what different after the reboot?

Did you reboot the computer, File > Quit, did you use the profile manager? Any details can help me with this bug, thank you!
