Thunderbird Not Responding
Evertime that I move the mouse I get "Nor Responding". I've tried safe mose, I've turned off Norton Anti Virus.
If I download Thunderbird again will I lose my email address book and Calender?

I downloaded Thunderbird again, and it kept everything but as soon as I move the mouse I get "Not Responding" I've also turned off Add-Ons and the spellchecker. The green "loading" bar, botton right never completes, it stops part way across. All the settings have been checked and are the same as on my laptop which works OK.

That worked!!! But what happens when I try a normal start for W10 and Thunderbird?
It doesn't work with a normal start.
Why can't I read the replies with solutions to the questions?
If the problem disappears when Windows and Thunderbird are running in safe mode, then what can be done to correct the problem?

I like Thunderbird, it has a lot of useful features but to have to go into safe mode for it to work without encountering "Not responding" I believe is absolutely ridiculous. What other software need that? Come on Mozilla; fix it!!

I FOLLOWED YOUR INSTRUCTIONS, WAYNE, AND IT DIDN'T WORK THE FIRST TIME. I REPEATED THE PROCESS THEN RE-INSTALLED TB 60.6.1 AND THAT SEEMS TO HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM. CHEERS!
