Bookmarks completely gone. Help, please!
I had to do a reset to my phone. This is the second time in one month. The first time it worked fine and my bookmarks came back after I downloaded Firefox with no problem. This time when I downloaded and signed in on my Android, they are gone. I backed up my tabs and bookmarks before signing out. Please advise what was done wrong. I don't want to lose my bookmarks forever. Thanks in advance for any help. Again this is for my phone, not a computer. Where can I access all my backups?

Hi
Thank you for your question about the Firefox Sync service.
It appears from your question, that you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.
If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data. Please have a read of this article.
If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data.
Thanks for answering but I saw this answer already when I was searching for a solution. I was hoping someone had personally had this problem and restored their bookmarks. Anyone have any personal experience with this situation?
Hi
Unfortunately, if you have reset the device and/or have removed Firefox for Android, there is no way (at least that I am aware of) to be able to recover your lost data.
