Whenever I receive a link to webpage in a chat from these two applications, Firefox is unable to open them when set as a default browser.

The links are valid and tested, since they open when the URL is manually copied and pasted in the address bar of Firefox.

This is a specific Firefox problem as I have successfully opened links by clicking on them from these apps using Brave/Chrome as default browsers for a comparison.

An update on this problem:

It's not only happening with the two aforementioned apps, but also when using Outlook. I'm unable to open any links from within Outlook.

Again, the problem is fixed by using another browser as the default one.
