Hi,

I have been using Thunderbird with both IMAP and pop3 settings(downloaded and saved to a local file). My PC(Win7) broke down so I had to migrate data into new PC(Win10), but I can't find the correct way.

This thread (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1082172) suggests migrating old profile into new pc, then by using profile manager (with creating new profile using old profile folder) the old email can be accessible.

I tried this but this only produces new profile with renewed IMAP settings - no old pop email data. I've been using thunderbird for 7 years + with multiple pop3 email accounts, but the profile folder only weighs 200MB, so my hunch is that the pop3 data is stored somewhere?

Any help is appreciated.

Chosen solution

Solved myself.

I was copying profile from appdata/local instead of appdata/roaming. This was my mistake.
