Hi.

After some time of trial and error I finally came to the conclusion that having the 'youtube.com' tab and 'antenaplay.ro' (tv broadcast app) tabs opened prevents my computer from auto-entering sleep mode. Even if the streams on the 2 tabs are paused.

I don't have this issue on Chrome, I can leave the tabs opened there and my PC can enter sleep mode no problem. The thing is I want to keep using Mozilla because I got used to it and because it's not based on Chromium.

If you need more information just say so. Thanks for the help in advance! Peter.

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried those you said, including reopening the sessions. So Firefox + the 2 tabs = doesn't sleep, Chrome + the 2 tabs = it sleeps. Firefox - the 2 tabs = it sleeps, Chrome - the 2 tabs = it sleeps.

So based on these tested scenarios I believe that the culprit is the browser.

Tried today to fully uninstall and reinstall Mozilla again. I uninstalled via Add Remove programs, then deleted the C/Program Files/Mozilla firefox folder. Then opened all my tabs and login on all al the sites I use.

I then tried to let the PC idle to see if it enters sleep mode by itself. It worked a couple of times, so I was happy I got it working, then, apparently, without changing anything, it didn't... Energy here in Europe is very expensive so that's why it's important to me for the pc to go into sleep mode when not used. I usually open a Tv show in the background as I try to fall asleep, and when the show is over, the computer sleeps, well, on Chrome anyway.

If you need log files or something I can provide them. Thanks again in advance for the help.
