Tabs pausing
How do I stop tabs from pausing video and audio when switching between them?? If it is even possible now. Without having to use an add-on or extension.

If the website is using the Page Visibility API, you will need to use an extension or a deeper ugly javascript hack. Disabling javascript might work for some sites but will likely make the site unusable.
It shouldn't be that interesting, I have found many articles where people have had the same or a similar problem. Nothing that seems to have helped them has helped me. A pause when i switch tabs and then tabs seem to buffer while 2 are playing. Only noticed this since updating to version 117. Only extension I use is adblock. I have cleared data and cache. Restarted and tried in troubleshoot mode. Problem still exists. Doesn't happen in chrome, opera or edge. I assume my next instruction will be to re install... Hoping to not have to do that. Thank you
I am using Youtube and Ultimate Guitar websites. Do not know about API. The pages do not pause completely, They keep playing but it is interrupted playback. I tried a couple of extensions that seemed to help other people but they have not helped me. I also tried some config. changes, also did not help.

You can try to tear off such a media playing tab and move it to a standalone window.
