I cannot access certain email documents because my pop up is blocked. I have tried a number of searches as to where to disable the pop up for firefox but keep hitting dead ends.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin), always make sure such extensions do not block content.

While on the site, open the Page Info window (using ctl+i) and, on the permissions tab, change Open pop-up windows to Allow.
