Start Page
Am running Firefox 3.6.8, on Windows XP Home. The very first page that loads when I click on Firefox shows a picture up above, across the entire screen, over the menu bar/tool bar area. It looks like a sunset in the mountains. Is there a way to change this picture to something else? Thank you in advance for your input.

That sounds like a persona (a light weight theme). There are thousands to choose from at http://www.getpersonas.com/

You are right. Thank you for your help. That took care of it.
Tools > Add-Ons > Themes > Default
This is to remove the current picture on your start page. Change the picture by going to the persona gallery. http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/gallery/
I'm still experiencing a problem with this! Each time I open Firefox, one or another Persona sleeve has sneaked its way in. I go to tools, remove that Persona, and it goes back to the old-fashioned look. The "Apply" "button" is gray, so can't use that one. The next time I open Firefox, a Persona is there, again, confusing me and my elderly parents (who are finding it hard to see bookmarks thru the pics). How can I remove Persona for good? Thanks for your help!
