lost my bookmarks, cant reload, system only lets me put in yahoo which I dint use

my system has lost all my bookmarks with Firefox, the toolbar has changed and when I try to reinstall my bookmarks the only thing Ithat happens when I hit bookmarks is yahoo comes up, I dont use yahoo
