we cannot get the web pages to fill the screen they are in the middle about half of total screen. Geek squad was no help!

Yesterday our hp desktop, 23inch touch screen was showing web pages full screen, today it is not. Instead it looks like a page within the screen covering about half of total screen width. we have gone into "view" and selected full screen and there is a blip and it changes incrementally. Is this a Firefox problem or adjustment needed in this area?
