In Firefox 4 how do I access changing the Browser History Expiry. It used to be easy before as there was a counter to set how many days to keep history? Lizzie

In tools, under privacy I was able to set the number of days to keep Browser History...Handy when one needs to keep a track record of sites visited. Now in Firefox4 I only have "Remember History" as an option. How do I know how log history is saved for now?

In Firefox 4 you can no longer set the number of days to store history. The method that Firefox uses to store history has changed, for details on the changes see http://blog.bonardo.net/2010/01/20/places-got-async-expiration

Thank you I get the picture but don't know how I could check places.history.expiration.max_interval, I may have mis typed some words that but you will know what one I am talking about. I am disappointed that I no longer have control of length of time keeping history. Unfortunately I can not check to see how long my history is being kept for as I had some work done on the computer and with out permission all my history was erased by that person! I do know the history has been kept since I started using Firefox again.
