I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Fortunately, removing Babylon is very easy, simply Reset Firefox:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Also make sure you uninstall Babylon. Click on your start button, then Control Panel, then Program and Feature. Remove anything related to Babylon. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Uninstall-or-change-a-program will show you how to uninstall.

We're sorry you installd another of those things called "adware". As Tylerdowner said, the best thing you can do is uninstall Babylon and reset Firefox. Next time, once installing a program, make sure you ALWAYS choose "Custom installation". Read ALL the License Terms and ALL the text on the wizard, because this adware installs when you accidentaly give them consent to do so. Uncheck the checkboxes you think will install adware, toolbars or programs you don't want, even if next to the checkbox you see Recommended. We personally DO NOT recommend installing a toolbar, because it might spy your activity on the network and it overloads Firefox making it go slower than it should.

Thanks for contacting us for support, Marc.
