all of a sudden I have a deleted messages folder - have no idea why it appeared. my deleted messages used to go into the trash folder, which is where I want them to go. now some of them go to deleted messages and some into the trash. I have no idea of what the rhyme or reasoning is behind this. I've deleted the deleted messages folder numerous times but it comes right back as soon as I delete a message. all I want is for my deleted messages to into the trash. If anyone has a way to fix this, I would appreciate it.

What program or provider are you referring to?

Mozilla Firefox does not have a email provider and so we are unable to also help with this issue.

Also note that your plugins listed in your System Details List show two Adobe Reader plugins.

  1. Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.03
  2. Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape "9.5.5"

You should remove the older 9.5.5 version.
