some part in history (places.sqlite) lost after exit and OS reboot
I am desperate. I often used to restore last session once my laptop wake up next day in order to save time. I regularly exited FF by top-right GUI cross which had opened 10 sessions that time(no hanging up,crash, simple ordinal FF exit). Then I rebooted OS win7. My FF is latest one 21.0.so hopefully all older bugs shall be solved. Then I started FF with hope that my restore last session tab works from home view.It never happened. I had just blank FF starting page. I checked history manually in LAST MONTH. Almost 20 days back is missing. Then I started deeper investigation in places.sqlite and I opened this by text editor searching raw strings with URLs which I used during last month. THEY GONE,DISSAPEARED from places.sqlite.Just some of them from begging of last month are there. It is really annoying I relied on this FF feature. Can anybody explain me what to do to avoid history lose in next time? I do know that my history gone forever, simple history URLs disappeared from places.sqlite. Restore does not make sense then.No journal file of places. Thanks for any hints.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
- do not clear the Browsing History
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings
