So I finally organised a hundred of inactive tabs on my phone into Collections. Then I had to re-install the Firefox app. And what - now after signing in I won't recover my collections? They are nowhere to be seen and I'm absolutely distraught. Should've used the good old bookmarks, but too late now, isn't it?...

Collections are saved in the application data, which would have been cleared when you removed Firefox for Android. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover them.
