Some email's content does not reflect or match who sent it

I receive an email and it displays who is is from and the subject but when you open it, its content is totally different and not what it should be. EG: A friend sent me an email about an upcoming trip but the content represented an advertising email either before or after it. Any help??

try this: right click on the folder and select 'Properties' click on 'Repair folder' click on ok

then collapse and reopen the folder pane tree to refresh the folder or select another folder and then reselect the folder.
