FIrefox keeps crashing about two seconds after opening. I have tried opening in safe mode (crashes) and resetting to "factory" settings (crashes). Above are the two most recent crash messages.

I don't know if it is related, but all my Libre Office documents instantly crash too. And my windows desktop icon (that shows cpu and ram usage) has disappeared.

Windows 7 Ultimate.

Chosen solution

Well, tried rebooting. Firefox still wouldn't work. Reset to defaults (again), this time it took a while, but started up afterwards.

Libre is also working again (took a while).

I assume it is pre-Halloween sorcery (problem and solution).

Just ran the antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials, yes I know, but AVG kept messing up my comp before I whiped and started over).

Also ran Malwarebytes.

Both came back clean.
