one laptop is on beta , one is not - why
hi
i got a new laptop and installed FF . it says its on beta when i check for updates but my old laptop is not on beta
my new laptop gets many updates while my old laptop doesnt
QUESTION :
1 - is it better to be on beta ?
2 - how can i remove beta on my new laptop and be on stable ( is that the correct term ? )
3 - how can i get my old laptop onto beta if its better ?
Chosen solution
"Beta" is a pre-release version that is intended for "testers" of beta software. The Beta usually has 10 to 12 updates over the course of the 6 week beta testing phase, along with a few Release Candidate updates at the end of each cycle.
You can download the latest release version from here: https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Simply install over the current Beta installation.
