Use Microsoft Wordpad.

C:\PROGRA~1\WINDOW~2\ACCESS~1\wordpad.exe

Click the Windows icon, select Run, type wordpad.exe<enter>

I followed your directions. Downloaded the message, but I still can't open it. My computer says I don't have an app for that. I have Windows 8.1 and Mr. Google can only give me ideas for Windows 7 and Vista. Thanks for trying.
