I do not remember when it started, but whenever I press the new tab button in firefox, it will open a new tab, but with my homepage. This is becoming incredibly annoying. It is not an add-on issue as I restarted firefox with add-ons disabled.

Hi, try this: Type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtab.url and right click to change 'Value' to about:newtab

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
