A friend used my computer to access his gmail account. I had to sign out of my gmail account but am now back. In the course of trying to help him access his account I opened Internet access. After it appeared that my gmail account was ok I opened my Earthlink account through the desktop icon as usual. However, my password was not longer there and it was not opening in Foxfire. When I clicked on Foxfire my Earthlink account was there as was my password (hidden of course but saved) I want to be able to have a separate icon for Earthlink that includes my password. How do I do that? And I want to delete the one that appreas to go through Internet Explorer.

Was the shortcut created with Firefox, or Win IE?

Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Turn on Always Check Firefox Default Browser.
