View my bookmarks by added date permanently
I'm getting tired to check the option "Sort by Added" every time I want to see my latest bookmarks, when I select a different folder the view option returns again to "Unsorted"! There is a way to set "Sort by Added" option permanently or workaround available? Thanks

Did you look in the Recently Bookmarked smart folder?
You can create a new query and adjust maxResults=10 to suit your needs.
Name: Recently Bookmarked Location: place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1
Note that you can click on the Added column header to sort by that column. That is much easier then using the Views menu.
You would have to keep the Bookmarks Manager (Library) open to keep the sorting settings.

Hi Doomineer, To keep it sorted this way, in the menu above "Show Columns" you can add "Added" as a column and it will start sorted the next time you open the Library.
I hope this helps.

Ok now I get it, thanks cor-el, by the way I have create that query through an FF extension, right?
No, you create this query as a bookmark and use the place: query instead of the URL in the location field.
place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1
Note that you need to close and restart Firefox to make it work as a smart folder query.
