Can you check some view settings: Via 'Menu Bar'
- 'View' > 'Folders' > 'All'
- 'View' > 'Threads' > 'All'
OR Via 'Menu Toolbar'
- 'Menu icon' > 'Folders' > 'All'
- 'Menu icon' > 'View' > 'Threads' > 'All'
Confirm you have those settings.
Check to see if you marked it as a thread to ignore.
'View' > 'Threads' > 'Ignore threads'.
Hi there, I looked and yes they are both ticked to all
I did get some help from a friend and he did some kind of rebuild the folder while I did not get back all my old messages at least I am able to receive her messages now. Thank you very much for trying to help me out much appreciated.
The red circle was an icon that means 'Ignore' thread. So what happens if you select: 'View' > 'Threads' > 'Ignore threads'.
It should display the ignored threads, those with a red circle. select the email Message > select: 'Ignore thread' to remove the 'ignore thread' option.
Thank you I did expect it was some kind of block button and are durrently reading the
Ignoring threads and subthreads
page you gave me its very helpful :)
I know this is a late answer but I hope this helps other people. Select the email that has the red circle. Right click on the email and a drop down list appears. Click on "Ignore Thread" and the red circle disappears. I just finished marking an email to ignore so I tested adding and removing the red circle before posting this.
