my emails that I write go into my trash box little by little as I write!?
Hello, When I write an email little by little each paragraph I write goes into my trash! I do not know why!? It does go out okay, but after it goes out, I see each paragraph in my trash, why would it do this? I do not like it at all.
I have tried to get a hold of you, I left 2 messages but never got called back. The problem was checked by Time Warner our ,cable carrier , they said it must be a setting that I have on through Mozilla.
Please help me out. Thank you.

re :I have tried to get a hold of you, I left 2 messages but never got called back.
I can only see the one question and comment as detailed above, so I'm not sure what you meant by left two messages or why you would expect someone to call you.
Thunderbird is a Free email client. This is the support forum. There is no email address to contact and there is no telephone support.
When you compose emails, it is highly likely that you have the option to save a copy of the Draft email. The draft copy is usually saved in the designated 'Drafts' folder.
Pop and Local Folder mail accounts tend to save drafts in the pop mail account Drafts folder and when you send the email, the draft is deleted but does not show up in the Trash.
However, Imap mail accounts can behave differently due to how the server acts with Draft messages. I have heard that a similair issue can occur with gmail drafts. I'm presuming you have an Imap mail account. It sounds like each time you save the draft it is deleting the old one and putting it in Trash.
If you do not need to save your drafts in the Drafts folder on the imap mail account, then I would suggest you try using the 'Drafts' folder in 'Local Folders'.
This is where it is all set up, so that you can check where it is saving. 'Tools' > 'Account Settings' > 'Copies & Folders' for the mail account. or right click on mail account in folder pane and select 'Settings' then select: 'Copies & Folders' for the mail account.
Under 'Drafts' section If POP: select: 'Drafts folder on' and mail account name
If IMAP: select: 'Other' and the Drafts folder on the imap mail account. OR Select: 'Other' and 'Drafts' folder in 'Local Folders' to store on your PC and not on the server.
click on 'OK'
Now to check how frequently drafts is being saved. 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Composition' > 'General' tab or 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Composition' > 'General' tab
Select : 'Auto save every xx minutes' where xx relates to frequency of saving. I have mine set to 5 minutes, which would cover me for more lengthy emails. click on 'OK'
I expected a call back from you because I left 2 messages for you! I was given a number to call for some support! You did not answer my question at all. I do not put anything in local folder. My issues are with........my emails going into the " trash can" paragraph by paragraph while I'm writing it!? Time Warner thinks it must be some kind of setting that is on !? Why wouldn't you guys call back a customer? I do not get that. Strongly thinking about not using Thunderbird anymore.

If you were given a number by someone from Time Warner then it was not for support from Mozilla Thunderbird. It was probably some company that you would need to pay for support. So, your issue is with whomever you called and Time Warner for misleading you. You are not the first person I have heard say the Time Warner is telling people that Mozilla Thunderbird offer telephone support.
As I said Thunderbird is a Free email client. This is the support forum. There is no email address to contact and there is no telephone support. There is nothing to not understand.
re ; You did not answer my question at all. I do not put anything in local folder.
I have already explained why they are going to Trash.
What settings did you have here: 'Tools' > 'Account Settings' > 'Copies & Folders' for the mail account. or right click on mail account in folder pane and select 'Settings' then select: 'Copies & Folders' for the mail account.
Under 'Drafts' section Do you have this selected?
- select: 'Other' and the Drafts folder on the imap mail account.
Are draft emails actually being saved in the 'Drafts' folder? How frequently are you saving to Drafts?
Do you absolutely need Drafts to be saved to the server so that you can see them on another computer or device or would it not matter if they were saved to the 'Local Folders' account because you only access your mail from that computer?
If it does not matter then change the Account Settings to say: Select: 'Other' and 'Drafts' folder in 'Local Folders' click on OK
then open a new Write message and test to see if you are getting the same result.
Again........I do not save anything in the Drafts! So this is not helping me.
I find you rude and Mozilla certainly should have a telephone service support program. Time Warner did give me a number to call and it was to Mozzilla Thunderbird, I got a recording telling me to leave a message and they would get back to me!
re :I find you rude
Now you are getting offensive and I'm not here offering my free time to be insulted.
You have refused to tell the forum what settings are currently set up in Account Settings for Draft emails. You have refused to offer any information on how frequently you save to drafts. You have refused to acknowledge whether Draft emails are stored in Drafts - you would need to subscribe to see the Drafts folder on the server. You have refused to perform any tests on whether saving to Drafts on Local Folders resolves the issue..
re; Mozilla certainly should have a telephone service support program. It is a FREE email client and therefore does not and never has had any monies to pay for rooms of people sitting there getting paid to answer telephones. There is no telephone for support. But as Time Warner may have suggested, you can ring any company that purports to offer Thunderbird assistance and pay them accordingly.

Sorry for being rude, but I felt you were being rude to me :(
bucky123 Please try to work with me, so I can understand your setup.
Go into Account Settings as advised. look at the information for 'Drafts' for the imap mail account and tell me exactly....word for word what it says is selected eg: selected: 'Other' and the Drafts folder on the imap mail account.
Have you subscribed to see the server 'Drafts' folder? Drafts will only be saved before they are sent, after sending they will be deleted. So start writing a new email and select to Save as a Draft, do not send the email. then look in the Drafts folder to check it is there. Do you see a Draft email?
check how frequently drafts is being saved. 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Composition' > 'General' tab how frequently is it auto saving?
