Double spacing on reply e-mails

more options

I have version 45.0 on my PC, but every time I reply to an e-mail I get a double space between the lines. I know I have the option to not compose message I'm HTML format, but this is not acceptable to me. On my Laptop I have version 38.7.2 and in this version I can use HTML format when replying to e-mails without getting a double space when pressing enter. Is there a way to change this setting, and if not, how can I downgrade my 45.0 version to the 38.7.2 version?
