How do you print your tasks?
We do not use tasks
Ok, well tell us about events.
We are a small independent restaurant we use the calendar to keep track of wedding, meetings, & catering jobs. There is usually less than one page of text. When printing a very small thumb nail is printed in the top center of each page. I cannot get to print preview when printing events to access page setup. I am using windows 8

Have you checked your printer defaults in windows 8 to see if i is set to a paper size appropriate for labels or business cards
It might also help if you right click the toolbar in Thunderbird and select the menu bar be visible then you always have access to the print preview on the File menu.
I believe the printer defaults are correct. I have set the printer back to default. When you click on print preview and go to page set up the margins are set at .5 inches on all sides. However you can't get to print preview when printing events only emails. My emails now print the same way as my events in a little thumbnail
re :My emails now print the same way as my events in a little thumbnail
Margins set to 0.5 inches or 12.7 millimeters should be ok. but what is the Scale?
select email File > Print Preview Increase 'Scale' to increase size of font.
scale is set to shrink to fit
The printer works fine for printing from Open Office. Email and events still printing in a small area. If change the scale it prints larger text but still in only a small area
Can you confirm something...I know you have looked before. on print preview and go to page set up the margins are set at .5 inches on all sides. If text is pushed to the left side, please double check the right margin. Does it have the decimal point before the five, because it sounds like it is just a five and not 'point five'?
The thumbe print in the top center of the page. The margins are set at .5 I have changed them to .1 no difference. I print fine from open office. I print fine at my office using thunderbird.
change the margins to 2 or 2.5 and see if that helps.
Matt:
When I changed the margin to 1.0 The pint became even smaller
I set to .0001 and it is larger. However. the printing only cover 3 inch by five inch space in the top center of the page
The printer is set to letter I like thunderbird is setting the paper size
What if you print to another printer, like a pdf-printer (fx cutepdf)?
Could you post this info: In thunderbird Help > Troubleshooting information click on 'Copy text to clipboard' button
In this forum question, right click in a 'Post a Reply' text box and select 'paste'.
As we only need the printer info...You can edit/Remove all info except anything to do with 'printer'.
