I'm an independent Agent of a company who provided an email account to me. The original email was set up with Google/Gmail. This company has not gone to Outlook 365. Since I'm independent the IT support they are providing is less than adequate to figure out how to make these changes in my Thunderbird client. Can anyone help walk me through how to change an existing email account from Gmail over to Outlook??? Thanks in advance for any assistance rendered.

Sorry, I guess I needed to proofread this before I posted. I meant to say this company has now gone to Outlook 365. Again, sorry about that!

just add a new account On the toolbar > click the > beside new message and choose existing account.

If your existing account is IMAP I suggest you move all mail it contains to a local folder as when the gmail account is decommissioned by the provider the mail will be deleted in Thunderbird.
